Have a candle jar that's just tooooo good to toss out! In this video I'll demonstrate how to remove the wax from your candle jar by using three methods. The freezer (remove after a few hours, but is best if left overnight and is the least messy, no wax drippings)heat gun (I know everyone may not have one available), and double boiler method (make sure you use oven mitts).
Once you have removed the wax and cleaned your candle jar either by spraying inside with alcohol and wiping out wax with paper towel or cleaning with warm soapy water (not dishwasher safe) it can be used to hold pens, office supplies, make-up brushes, hair ties, spare change and a host of many other items.
Please do not use your newly repurposed jar to store food items or as a drinking glass as it is not food safe.
